Bio

I am a Research Scientist and Program Lead directing the Anesthesia Research Program, where I oversee the full lifecycle of clinical and translational research, from conceptualization and protocol development through implementation, analysis, and dissemination. My work is grounded in scientific rigor, methodological innovation, and a commitment to generating evidence that meaningfully advances patient care. I bring deep expertise in qualitative and mixed‑methods research, including study design, data collection, and advanced qualitative analysis to capture patient, clinician, and system-level perspectives. I have extensive experience developing and leading complex, multi‑site, and international research collaborations, aligning diverse stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and cultural contexts to produce high‑impact, publishable science. I provide strategic oversight for multi‑phase, multi‑site clinical trials and qualitative research programs, ensuring excellence in: Protocol development and methodological rigor (qualitative, mixed methods, and clinical trials) Regulatory strategy and IRB coordination across institutions Research budget development, negotiation, and fiscal stewardship Governance and coordination of domestic and international research teams My background in Lean Six Sigma enables me to integrate process improvement into research operations, delivering measurable gains in efficiency, data quality, and regulatory readiness across anesthesiology and nursing departments. I am passionate about translating complex scientific questions into practical, patient‑centered solutions.
